Tuesday, February 28, 1928 Rotary Club meeting at Hotel Taft this noon. I went from there out to Arthur W. Chambers house, #433 Edgewood Avenue. His wife Winnie Smith Chambers died last night. She had only been ill since Thursday. She was operated on Saturday for appendicitis and peritonitis set in which was fatal. All men of the Wall Paper department worked tonight.
