Very warm again today, spoiling the skating. Went in to Calvary to church and church school. At the regular church hour this morning, we held a new rally under the auspices of the Every Mens Bible Class. The body of the church was full of men. The ladies sat in the gallery. Prof. William Lyon Phelps of Yale University was the preacher. I took down the Christmas tree this afternoon and put the ornaments away for another year. Drove over to Ansonia, Conn. tonight and spoke at the men's meeting at the First Baptist Church. Frederick Freeman is the paster there. The topic for the evening was, "And who is my neighbor". A fair audience was present.
