Connecticut Paint Salesmens Club annual dinner in connection with the Convention of the Conn. Master Painters Association, which starts tomorrow. There is a general alarm in the city regarding a few cases of small pox that have appeared. These cases came from contacts made with people at Middletown and surrounding towns. There are to date about one hundred cases there. We have had four so far. Dr. Rice of the Health Department is urging vaccination as a preventive. T.P.H. and Sarah were vaccinated today by Dr. W.P.
