Friday, January 20, 1928 Luncheon at Quinnipiac Club with George Barnes and Lauson Halls (the entertainment committee). Mrs. Dorothy Memmott Gordon came in to see me today just before leaving for Camden, New Jersey, where her husband has a new position. She is sorry to leave New Haven and we shall miss seeing her occasionally. We all wish them luck. Received a letter from Bessie Fox today telling us that Helen is slightly better and has a fine chance of getting well again. Drove in late tonight after Sally.
