Monday, January 23, 1928 Another beautiful day, clear and not too cold. No snow yet. The small pox scare in New Haven is subsiding due I think to so many people having been vaccinated. Over 100,000 in New Haven so far. Luncheon meeting this noon of the New Haven Council of Churches Executive Board at Hotel Bishop, president Orville A. Petty presided. We are planning the Lenten services to be held at the Bijou Theatre for the ten days before Holy Week. Worked at the store tonight on Wall Paper records. T.P.H. came in and waited for me.
