Monday, July 2, 1928 Clear most all day. A short, hard shower this afternoon. Painters started work at Calvary Church this morning. It is to be painted all through. Met Low Norton there, the architect, regarding new lights. Had lunch with Howard Palmer and Arrin Spencer. Sarah called for me tonight. Then we called for Dorothy Rawson and took her out home with us, preparatory to going up to Camp Arden, Vermont with Sally tomorrow. Planted salvias in the garden tonight. Ruth and Lota called to see Sally. Ruth expects soon to go to Mexico City to represent some automobile concern.
