Saturday, July 7, 1928 A beautiful day and we are willing to emphasize the beautiful. We had so few of them. Clear and cool and full of "pep". Closed the store at one o'clock. Came home and worked in the garden all afternoon. The sunshine is glorious. Mr. and Mrs. John Rice (our neighbors) called on us in the garden tonight.
