This is St. Swithins Day and after the week long rain, the sun came out brightly this morning and shone hot all day but as there was no humidity and a fine breeze, it was ideal Summer weather. Slept late this morning. After breakfast, worked in the garden till about three o'clock. Had a bath and dinner then took a walk around Spring Glen with T.P.H. Spent the evening writing up my report of the New Haven Grays 111th Anniversary, celebrated last September 13th.
