Wednesday, July 18, 1928 Very hot again today. The thermometer officially said 92° but many others said more. T.P.H. called for me at the office soon after noon and I drove her to the station on her way down to Norwalk to visit Alice Drew Lockwood. A few days rest from housekeeping will do her good. The Rotarians and Kiwanians went out to Northford tonight to Dick Lovell Camp for boys of the Boys Club Down Town youngster more or less tough. We had supper with the boys. Had a sing after wards then went out of doors and played games with them. Afterwards returning to the mess hall for a program of stunts put on by the boys. We all enjoyed it very much. I rode back to New Haven with Harley and got my car at the store and drove home.
