Tuesday, July 31, 1928 At the Hotel Commodore attending the Wall Paper Convention. Had breakfast with Mr. Gibson of the Becker, Smith, and Page line. Mr. Chamberlain came down this morning. We looked at Becker, Smith, + Page line this forenoon. Mr. Gibson showed us. Also had lunch with him. Looked at Robert Graves Co. line this afternoon. Mr. E.B. Pratt showing it to us. We had dinner here at the Commodore. Then Harley Chamberlain and I went over to the Chanin Theatre to see "Good News". A mighty good show. Sent Sally a night letter tonight to arrive on her birthday tomorrow morning. Her mother went up yesterday to spend it with her. Delightfully cool again today.
