Saturday, June 2, 1928 Showers in the morning. Clearing by noon. Had lunch in town. We closed the store at one o'clock for the first time this summer. Sarah called for me and we went out to the Yale-Princeton baseball game. Yale won 8 to 3. Jeff Sawyer pitched for Yale. Vaughn, Yale captain. We sat in the new baseball stands. This new equipment just finished. They are very great improvement. Then worked in the garden till dark. Jess Hodges came up from New York today. Is staying with Harley and Alice.
