Wednesday, June 6, 1928 Still raining. The Gateway School Graduation this morning at eleven o'clock D.S.T. at the First Baptist Church. Sarah was back with her class as was Aletha down from Hartford and "Cupie" from Boston. Harold Brown, "Brownies" father dropped dead this morning as he was dressing. This four of our men friends all about the same age who have died suddenly within a week. It is all so sudden. All the family attended the recital of Mrs. Mary Loveridge Robbins pupils at Center Church House tonight. Lois Hodges had two solos and she sang beautifully. It was all so fine!
