Friday, June 8, 1928 Drove to Springfield this morning via Westfield. Stopped at Bryan Hardware Co. Met Harry Fitch there and he took me in his car to Northampton to call on our customer J. Hugh Pierce and adjust a Wall Paper matter with him. We had luncheon there and then drove back to Westfield. I changed the Wallpaper display at Bryan's then drove over to Springfield store. Left there at 4-30 and came down home. Had a flat tire in Simsbury that delayed me. T.P.H. was all ready for me and we went down to the Momauguin to a dinner given by the Aid-de Camp Class of Calvary Baptist Church. Reached home very late. Sarah left this morning for New Hampshire with a group from the Yale Drama School for a let down after examinations.
