Sunday, June 10, 1928 In to Calvary Church. Our Children's Day observance at the 10-30 service upstairs. Mrs. Palmer had charge and everything went off just fine. Came home for dinner then T.P.H. and I drove down to Bridgeport to Lew Bill's house for a picnic in honor of Bert and Jess Hodges. We took Violette and Ruth down with us. Harley and Alice, Lois and Franklin, Alice and Fred Lockwood, Madeline Ballard, Mrs. Smith, Violette and Ruth, Bert and Jess, Uncle and Auntie "B", Lew and Harthon, Tess and I.
