Tuesday, June 19, 1928 No Rotary Club luncheon today on account of the Taft Hotel needing the room for the Yale Commencement guests. T.P.H., Sarah, and I went out to Yale Field to see the Yale-Harvard game and the class reunion festivities. Just before the game started, the rain which had been threatening all day came down in torrents. We huddled under the stands for an hour then the game was called off. We got soaked walking down to the Boulevard where we had parked our new Packard car. Drove home. Had supper. Changed our clothes and feet fine. I drove up to Hartford and spoke at the Blue Hills Baptist Church to the Hartford Baptist Union. Yale and Harvard teams move on to Boston to play at Harvard Commencement tomorrow.
