More rain again today. Yale Commencement exercises concluded with conferring of degrees on many noted men. The Yale Harvard game to have been played in Cambridge today was again postponed on account of rain. The teams are to play the Tuesday game here tomorrow and then go back to Cambridge and play the Wednesday game there on Friday. In case of a tie, the third game will also be played in Cambridge. Mrs. Runnells and Mrs Armand (Larry Noble's mother and aunt, respectively) here tonight for dinner and the night. Nat came out for dinner. Darnum and Bailey's, Sells Brothers, Circus here today. Six elephants stampeded and caused a lot of fright. The elephant who started it is to be killed. (Later) this elephant was shot and presented to Peabody Museum.
