Thursday, June 21, 1928 Still raining. Conn. Master Painters Ass'n outing at the Black Rock Country Club, Bridgeport, Conn. 173 present. Sports and games in the morning. Dinner at two o'clock. I was the speaker of the day. Drove up to the store then out to Olive Branch Lodge in Westville to see Harold Camp take his third degree. It was a wonderful meeting. The men from the Calvary Every Men's Bible Class gave him a watch and chain and Mr. Spreyer gave him a Masonic Bible. Hawley Lincoln was in the east and many Baptist men had parts in the work. Congressman John L. Tilson was there and spoke a few words. The Yale-Harvard baseball game postponed from Tuesday was played today between showers and Yale won 4 to 3.
