Sunday, June 24, 1928 More rain and mist this forenoon but cleared off for a while this afternoon. As our church school closed last Sunday, I did not go in at all today. Worked in the garden till six o'clock. Came in, took a bath, shaved, and called it a day. Finally planted the last of the dahlias. It is pretty late but we hope for a long Summer so as to have some blossoms. Dorothy Rawson of the Drama School is spending the weekend with us. Sarah came home from Worcester this afternoon. Father Peck had a slight shock this morning. Not so serious yet. T.P.H. took him to see Dr. Jack, who told them to keep absolutely quiet and put him on a strict diet.
