Monday, June 25, 1928 Fog and mist in forenoon and cleared off hot at noon. Luncheon at Fitzsimmons Cafe with Harry Warner and Pete Booth as a committee arranging our Border Veterans Party for tomorrow night. Met the carpenters at Calvary Church to go over the repairs for the Summer. T.P.H. called for me with the new Packard and I worked in the garden till dark. Planted more golden bautam corn. Alice Drew Lockwood called and took Sally with her back to Norwalk. Fred was up playing golf with Billy Phelps. Dorothy Rawson is with us again tonight.
