Hard rain again today. I went to Springfield and back on the train. T.P.H. took Violette, Ruth, and Lota also Etta Weed Webster down to Norwalk to spend the day with Alice Drew Lockwood. They stopped in Bridgeport on the way down and took Auntie B along. They were to have a picnic at Compo Beach but on account of the rain, they had it at the house instead. Etta Webster stayed down with Alice and and Sarah, who had been down since Monday, came home. They called for me at the station and we all came home.
