Saturday, June 30, 1928 Cloudy but no rain. Not too pleasant. Worked till one o'clock. Closed then and came home. Worked in the garden all afternoon. Sarah and I drove in town tonight to get a watermelon and incidentally called on Vio Powell and Dorothy Rawson at "100 Howe Street".
