Harley and Alice, T.P.H. and I drove up to Westfield this morning for the funeral of Aunt Lucy Wetherbee. It was held at Lucy Cosby's home at 8 Madison Street and she was buried in Pine Hill Cemetery with Mr. Wetherbee. Auntie looked very lovely and restfull and it was the first time I ever saw her still. In life, she was always busy. We met many friends and relatives there that we had not seen for years. Lew Bill brought the flowers for us all and they looked lovely. We came back home and Harley and Alice had dinner with us before going home. We went up and back in a Pierce-Arrow Car that the agents wanted us to try out. Mr. Camp and Mr. Wheaton took my place at Calvary Church School. I was sorry to be away.
