Tuesday, March 13, 1928 Rotary Club luncheon at noon, Hotel Taft. At five o'clock, the president and past presidents of the New Haven Rotary Club went in Don Adam's office to consider nominees for president for the new year, purely informally of course. Ray Riegeluth was the man the majority would like to see nominated. Murray Sargent and I were appointed to see Ray and find out if he could accept the nomination if offered to him. I then drove over to Seymour to an organization meeting of the Seymour Rotary Club. Sixteen men signed up to join. District Governor Allen Bagg of Pittsfield and Past District Governor Allan Colvin of Hartford with the special committee of the Ansonia Rotary Club did the organization work.
