Saturday, March 17, 1928 A beautiful day today. Not too cold. General salesmens meeting at the office this morning. Mr. Shaffer and Mr. Fitch came down from Springfield. Fred Skeen, sales manager for the Geo D. Wetherill + Co., came up from Philadelphia and spoke to us all on paint selling. T.P.H. and Sarah drove up to Springfield this afternoon to see Muriel Newell Richardson. She is on from Corning, N.Y. for a wedding in Springfield. I worked till 8-30 at the store then went down to the armory to see the basketball game between a Grays team and a team from the Seventh Regiment of New York. We won.
