Sunday, March 18, 1928 A hard rain that began in the night continued nearly all day. T.P.H. and Sarah in Springfield visiting the Newells. I got up and went in town for breakfast then to church and church school. Gave a notice at the morning service regarding the Lenten Services to be held the next week every noon at the Bijou Theatre, Church Street between Crown and George Sts. T.P.H. and Sarah came down from Springfield this morning. Called for me at the church and we had dinner at the "Prattonia". Just moved to Howe Street from Lake Place. We then went home and read and wrote letters all evening. Sarah busy at the Yale Drama School this afternoon.
