Wednesday, March 21, 1928 Attended noon Lenten Service at the Bijou Theatre. Mr. Camp, our minister at Calvary Church, was the preacher. Hawley Lincoln led the singing and I presided. Quite a Calvary delegation. Had supper down town then went to Calvary to prayer meeting. After the meeting, we gave a farewell party to Rev. Francis Wheaton, who has been our assistant pastor for the past two years. He is to be pastor of the Baptist Church at Stratfield, Conn. We wish him God speed and hate to see him go.
