Saturday, March 24, 1928 A beautiful day, warm and balmy. Worked all day till five o'clock. T.P.H. called for me. We had just driven in to the yard when Bob Chandler of New London and "Midge" drove up. They stopped and had dinner with us. Sally went over to Mrs. Morille Cross to a dinner and bridge announcing Marion's engagement. Yale won the swimming championships tonight in the pool at Philadelphia.
