A real Spring like day today. Thermometer up to about sixty. Met Miss Gehring from the Bryan Hardware Co. of Westfield, Mass. at the 10-30 tram. She has come down to learn some thing about Wall Paper as they are to put in a Wallpaper department. I had lunch at the Quinnipiac Club. All Wall Paper department men worked tonight getting out orders. T.P.H. came in a called for Miss Gehring and entertained for dinner and the night. Sarah had had dinner with Miss Elizabeth Whitney (Aunt Betty as the camp girls call her) and then went to Woolsey Hall to hear Patterewski play.
