Wednesday, March 28, 1928 A beautiful March day, clear and cool and windy. Drove to Springfield. Took Mrs. E.L. Morton with me, who was moving to Springfield. She took her cat with her in her arms. Had lunch in Springfield then drove over to Westfield to the Bryan Hardware Co. to help them establish a Wall Paper Department. Came down home over the College Highway. Home for dinner at seven.
