Saturday, March 31, 1928 Worked till 3-30 then went out to the Edgewood Club for final rehearsal for play tonight. Worked right through till seven then dressed and was made up and put the show on at 8-30. Not nearly enough preparation. Still, the people were generous and said it was good. Sarah took out a group from the Drama School. They all stayed to dance. We took them home and they insisted on our going in to their apartment and they served tea and sandwiches.
