Sunday, May 6, 1928 A beautiful day. Clear, not too warm, with a sharp tang to the air. T.P.H. and I drove in town. I went to Calvary to church and school. She to St. Paul's Church. Mr. Camp is ill with the grippe and Prof. William Lyon Phelps preached for him. T.P.H. called for me and we had dinner at home. Sarah has been at home with us all day today. She did not have to report to the Yale School. I took a walk. Called on Mrs. Warren and looked at some of the many new houses being built at Spring Glen.
