Tuesday, May 8, 1928 Clear today but still cool. We are still running our furnace at home. Rotary luncheon at Hotel Taft at noon. Mr. Hyde and Mr. Carpenter worked with me till eight o'clock, pricing the new line of special Wall Papers. They went home at eight. I worked till 10-30 checking Wall Paper bills.
