In Norwich, Conn. Hotel Wauregan. Had breakfast here then took one of the New England Transportation Busses for New London. It was a delightful ride up hill and down dale over a splendid cement highway. Caught a train at New London over the shore line to New Haven. Had lunch at the Quinnipiack Club then to the store where I was busy all afternoon. Sarah called for me with the old Packard and brought me out home to dinner. Later T.P.H., Sally, and I went in town to the Yale Theatre to see a part of the color show and two of the one act plays put on for the Engineers Convention. Sally had a part to do in the Color Show. T.P.H. and I went over to the office and I worked while we waited till 12-30 for Sally to finish her work at the theatre. The Elm City Nursery new built over rock garden today and planted shrubs.
