Tuesday, May 15, 1928 Another beautiful day. Arose at the Hotel Kimball, Springfield Mass. Had breakfast there and then went over to the Springfield store. I went over to Westfield to the Bryan Hardware Co. and dressed two windows with Wall Paper. Back to Springfield. Had lunch and then Harley and Franklin Clark and I drove down home. The apple blossoms and the lilacs are coming out beautifully now and the country looks just wonderful. Surely seems as though Spring had really come. T.P.H., Sarah, and I drove into town. They to go to the Yale Theatre to see a demonstration of the color organ and I to the office to work. After being away two days, my desk needs attention.
