Sunday, May 20, 1928 Rained hard all day long. Sarah and I went in town. I went to Calvary Church to church and church school. Sarah took a group of the young people from the Yale Drama School up to Mill Brook, New York to see the presentation of some play or other. Violette and Clayton brought me home. T.P.H. and I had dinner at home then Mr. Carrol of the Packard Motor Car Co. came out and took us in to their salesrooms to show us the new cars. We thought we would like the seven passenger packard best of all. They sent us home in a car. Went back in town on the trolly to Calvary Church to lead the meeting at the Chinese Mission rooms at seven thirty. Back again on the trolly car.
