Monday, May 21, 1928 Still cloudy and heavy this morning. A little sunshine this afternoon. T.P.H. took me in to the office then went on over to see Dr. Baldwin on account of her cough. He gave her some medicine and sent her home. She has been up and down all day and is much worse tonight. Sally put her to bed in the guest room. Had luncheon this noon at the Hotel Taft with Mr. J. Manny Bacon, Harley, and Franklin. Supper and meeting tonight at 6-30 at the Trinity Church Parish House, being the annual meeting of the New Haven Council of Churches. I made the report as treasurer and was reelected for the new year. Dr. Petty was also reelected president. Dean Elict Weigle of the Yale Divinity School told us about the great missionary conference just held at Jerusalem.
