Clear today with more sun shine. T.P.H. sick in bed all day. Dr. Baldwin came out to see her. He said she has the grippe and high blood pressure. Rotary luncheon at the Hotel Taft. Daddy George of the George Junior Republic was the speaker and gave us a fine idea of the problems they are trying to work out there with the delinquent youth of New York State. George Hanbury was down to see us today. He told me that Mabel (Alfred's wife) was in the New Britain Hospital for an operation for appendicitis. Sally has gone in tonight to the drama school to work on light crew. She worked all night last night from 10 P.M. to 5 A.M.
