Wednesday, May 23, 1928 Rain again today. Cloudy all afternoon and still so tonight. T.P.H. still sick in bed with grip. Dr. Baldwin called to see her again today. Sarah is doing yoeman service, going to school and taking care of her mother at the same time. She has gone back in to class again tonight. This is the Grannis Medal Drill of the New Haven Grays tonight at the old Meadow Street Armory. Sorely have I missed one of these drills but I could not leave Tess alone tonight for anything.
