Monday, May 28, 1928 Went with Mr. Chamberlain to Meriden to call on some of his customers. H.M. Chittenden is moving into a new store farther up Main Street. Also called on Walter Bess and helped him get rid of a crouch against our concern on account we sent one of his orders C.O.D. Home in time for a hurried dinner. Put on evening clothes and went in to the Yale Theatre to see the drama group put on Ibsen play - "Brand". Called for Violette and Mrs. Frank Smith and took them with us. The play was wonderful. The lighting effects marvelous. Sarah was on the light crew also in the mob scene.
