Saturday, November 3, 1928 Rained all day long and as this is the day of the Yale-Dartmouth game, everyone regretted it very much. Bob and "Midge" Chandler came down from New London and Afred Hanbury and his brother in law came down from Newington. The game was a good game considering the weather. Yale won 18 to 0 but in all fairness to Dartmouth, her best backfield were out of the game with injuries. Several of Yale men could not play either but they did not need them with Loud and Ellis in. Captain Eddy for Yale captured a fumble and scored a touchdown. After dinner, Bob and Midge, Ed Cole and Alice, Sally, and Peter Barker went out to the Edgewood Club with us to the dance. Bob and Midge stayed all night with us. [Prev](1928_11_02.md) - [Next](1928_11_04.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1q3BgOsj-nwO_B6JCoyRA399hpw8orgom">
