Monday, November 12, 1928 Cloudy all day with our first real snow flurry tonight. Worked all day on the third floor condensing our Wall Paper stock. Had supper in town tonight then went down to the Quinnipiack Club to a Board of Governors Meeting. Came right home afterwards on the trolly car. T.P.H. feeling bum with a bad cold and bad head. Newspapers announce that Herbert Hoover, president elect, is planning to take a trip to South America before his inauguration. Business men are quite pleased over the announcement, expecting that it might mean good business contacts.
