Tuesday, November 20, 1928 Rained today. Rotary Club at noon at the Hotel Taft. We presented Don North with a gift as the returning president of our club. His term ended last July first but we were delayed in getting the gift on account of the illness to Mrs. North and the baby. We gave him a set of solid silver tableware. Drove over to Branford tonight to the Charter Night of the Branford Rotary Club. It was held in the Armory and just about 400 sat down. District Governor Jim Gunn of Turners Falls was in attendance as was also Past International President Don Adams of New Haven and Allan Calvin of Hartford. I came home with Bert Clark, who brought me out to Spring Glen. I had ridden out to Branford with Bob Ferguson.
