Thursday, November 29, 1928 Thanksgiving Day - 1928. Home all day. Worked around cleaning up for the Winter. The weather was mild so I planted a lot of tulip bulbs. Not a bit of frost in the ground. Mother prepared her usual fine dinner. Eleanor Effler of Dana Hall School and "Pete" Barker of the Yale Drama School here to dinner. Father Peck to ill to be moved so T.P.H. packed their dinner up and took it over to them hot then she came back and had her own dinner. We took Eleanor in to the 6-19 train for Boston.
