Went into the store early and then started to drive to Springfield. Stopped at the house for my arctics and Sarah decided to go with me. I was very glad of her company. It was raining untill we reached Farmington then we struck snow and it snowed all the time till we got back as far as Avon, Conn, when it was warm enough to rain again. The ground was well covered to the North and the windshield was all ice. Arrived home in time for dinner. Doris Glaenzer came up from New York to up to Vermont with Sally tomorrow. T.P.H. and Sarah went in town to the Shubert and I went in to the office to work. Doris stayed here and went to bed.
