Arose in time. Breakfast here at Hotel Aspinwall, Lenox, Mass. After breakfast, we went in the car down to Sheffield, Mass. to call on the Buckinghams, who are both customers and friends. Mr. B. was at home sick with a cold. We went down there to see him and that gave T.P.H. and "Midg" and Bob Chandler a fine chance to see Mrs. B's antique furniture and she has a wonderful collection. Luncheon this noon at the Aspinwall and Jamie Morton of Pittsfield sang, which is always a great treat. This afternoon, we drove over towards Pittsfield to get some honey to take home to Sarah and Mother Peck. Dinner tonight and dance afterwards was a huge success. International Director William H. Campbell of Rochester, N.Y. was the speaker. New York "Yankees" won again from St. Louis "Cardinals" 13 to 3, being the second win of the World Series.
