Thursday, October 11, 1928 We had breakfast with Claire, Harry and Russell (Bill) having gone to the Works earlier. We had lunch at their home and Harry came home in our honor. Claire took us to the station and we left Syracuse at 2-10 for New York and home. It was fearfully hot on the train, like Summer heat. We had dinner on the train and by getting off the New York Central train at 125th St., we caught the train for New Haven there that left the Grand Central Station at 9-30, which we would have missed had we gone on in to the Grand Central. Sally and Dorothy Rawson met us at the station here and we were right glad to see her as we were hot and tired. We did so enjoy our trip both at Niagara Falls and at Cousin Harry's.
