Saturday, October 13, 1928 Worked till two o'clock then T.P.H. called for Sally and I at the store and we went out to the bowl to the football game between Yale and University of Georgia. Yale won 21 to 6 and thereby avenged the defeat by Georgia last year 14 to 10. By the way that was the only defeat Yale suffered. After this set back, she won from Brown, Dartmouth, Army, Maryland, Princeton, and Harvard. It rained today for a part of the game so that Tess and Sally did not stay but went and sat in the car till the game was over. We all came out home to supper and brought Ed Cole of the Drama School with us. We then went back in town, Ed and Sally to work at the Yale Drama School, me to work at the office. Harvard won from North Carolina 20 to 0. Princeton and Virginia played a tie game 0 to 0.
