Tuesday, October 16, 1928 Warm again today. Rotary luncheon at Hotel Taft. Awfully hot there with heat on. Left the office and drove to Easthampton, Mass. to the Charter Night of the new Easthampton Rotary Club. About two hundred men there. Don Adams of our New Haven Club was the chief speaker. I went on from there to Northampton and spent the night at the Hotel Northampton.
