A beautiful Autumn day after the rain of last night. Worked at the store till noon then came out home to lunch. Mr. Hanbury of Newington was here and then he and T.P.H., Sarah, and I drove out to the Yale Bowl to see the Yale-Brown game. Yale won 32 to 14. It was a corking good game. Brown put up a great forward passing game and deserved to score - "Max" Eddy is captain of Yale this year and Johnny Garvy is the backfield star. West Point played Harvard today and won 15 to 0. Sarah had to leave the game at half time to go to rehearsal at the Yale Drama School.
