Sunday, September 2, 1928 Another lovely day. Cool and clear. Slept late this morning. Then after breakfast, worked out in the garden weeding out my cucumbers, etc. Spent the balance of the day reading and writing letters. Dorothy Rawson came out to stay all night. The apartment she has been using is to be occupied so she had to get out.
